Choose your Own Future
Become conscious of your present for a successful future
We have no control over our future and everything is just up to God.
Wrong.
I’m sorry to anyone who believes this, because it’s the furthest thing from the truth. I don’t know where we as humans started to believe this lie but I have a few hunches.
Maybe it’s the constant sermons and reminders that God is in control. That His plans are to prosper us and give us a good future.
While this is true, I think we’ve ultimately forgotten the powerful thing that we were given from the beginning.
Free Will.
We have free will over everything within our lives. We choose to follow His plans. We choose to be disobedient and go against them. We choose to sin. We choose to resist temptation.
It’s all our own choice at the end of the day. For better or for worse.
I think we love to have this belief that God is responsible for everything that occurs within our lives, just so we have a way to escape accountability.
Think about it.
How many times has something negative occurred within your life, and you simply say “Well it’s all apart of God’s plan”?
And yes, sometimes it very much is just a confusing part of His plan. But other times we just flat out screwed up and didn’t walk in obedience.
I want you to realize that every choice you make. Every decision you make. Who you choose to surround yourself with. What habits you choose to indulge in. The words you speak. The thoughts you think. They ALL affect your future.
It’s time you realize just how much power you have over your life.
You truly choose your own future.
And it starts with all the little things.
So what does this mean?
It means that you have to be intentional with everything that you do. We can’t afford to live a life of complacency.
We can’t live a life where we only pursue meaningless pleasures that only drive us further from the purpose that God set out for us.
I actually made an entire video about that on my secret channel 🤫
Choose your own Future by choosing all the right little things now.
It’s not easy by any means. It’s actually quite hard sometimes.
Watching your friends enjoy the “college experience”. Choosing to not hang out with friends for a long period of time due to locking in. Deciding to stay inside, save money, and work on your business because you know you have value to provide to others.
These are all decisions I’ve had to make in the past few months.
Were they hard?
Oh yeah, for sure.
Were they worth it?
Ummmm well, sometimes I question if so, but deep down I know it truly is worth it.
To see all the people being impacted by my social media. To see myself finally take action on all that God has told me to do. To finally have a feeling of inertia. Like I finally have the ball rolling and it’s just continuing to roll further and further.
You can experience all of this and more just by paying attention to all the little decisions that you make. By being in a constant state of evaluation and improvement.
Let me wrap things up by explaining what it means to be in a state of constant self evaluation and improvement.
What you need to do
First, you need to live a life of constant self evaluation.
Constantly question what are your motives. Look at your habits. Check with your goals to see if they align with your purpose. Check you progression towards your goals.
Evaluate EVERYTHING.
When I say everything, I truly mean, everything. Don’t leave a single nook or cranny unchecked. This is how ensure you’re not allowing yourself to slip in any areas of life.
Successful people and companies of all different backgrounds do this. It’s an integral part of their growth.
Constant self evaluation ensures you never get off track from the ultimate vision. Which is fulfilling your God-given purpose.
Next
You have to be in a state of constant of improvement.
Nothing you do is perfect. There is always room for betterment.
View yourself as the same. You can always get better and improve. And only with this mindset will you find yourself moving ahead of the times instead of falling behind.
I always say, that time passes by like a constant current. So if you’re not progressing you’re falling behind.
If everything is moving forward and you remain stagnant, you’re allowing yourself to fall behind. Even slow motion is than no motion because at least you get to move with time rather than fall behind.
Evaluate. Take action. Progress. Re-evaluate. Take action again. Continue progressing.
It’s a pretty simple process, that will ensure you have peace and growth within your future.
Purpose over Pleasure🌱
Spotlight🍿
There aren’t enough words to describe how beautiful and epic this video is. It’s a perfect blend of storytelling and some of the best cinematography I’ve ever seen. Everything is so intricately designed and coordinated. Sky did an amazing job on this video and is definitely going to be a creator you hear of more in the future.
